Inclusive Education

The Universal Design for Learning Guidelines database is a living, dynamic tool that is continuously developed based on new research and feedback from practitioners. It seeks to address critical barriers rooted in biases and systems of exclusion.

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a core component of inclusive education in New Zealand. The Ministry of Education encourages the use of the UDL framework to create more inclusive and flexible learning environments.
